There’s a new farm to table eatery in town! Carlton Park Local Organic is now open for business, serving up yummy food made with locally grown, organic ingredients. We dined there recently with Mr. Yummy Brooklyn’s parents and had a delicious meal, starting with complimentary truffle popcorn. My only complaint was that I had to share it with the rest of the table…
We shared a round of apps including a grilled calamari salad, beet salad with goat cheese, and white bean hummus. Everything was tasty but the white bean hummus was the agreed upon favorite – smooth with a drizzle of delicious olive oil on top.
Between the four of us we were able to sample a nice variety of entrees including the Protein Bowl with Tofu, Grassfed Burger, Plancha Seared Salmon, and Aged Goat Cheese Ravioli. I had the ravioli, which was especially delicious and filling thanks to the creamy goat cheese inside. It was covered with a slightly sweet tomato sauce and ramp pesto – both very tasty.
I look forward to seeing the menu evolve with the seasons and hope this new restaurant has a nice, long stay in the ‘hood. There was a really nice vibe between the good food, the friendly staff, and the surroundings. Visit Carlton Park and you’ll enjoy garage doors that slide up for al fresco dining, a bustling open kitchen, recipes chalked on the walls, and plenty of local, organic, YUMMY eatin’.

Wow, despite how annoyed at all this farm-to-table-to-toilet nonsense, all this food looks awesome. And I love the cubbies!
Thank you Vanessa! We appreciate your kind words and beautiful photos. Come back again soon as our menu is always changing.
I love hummus! But think I prefer pita over toasted bread.
Awesome photos!
